iSkibike is easy to ride using minimal physical strength and coordination. It provides a very stable platform with a low center of gravity. Small skis on the feet helps balance and provides braking which creates confidence and control while carving a turn or coming to a stop. Best of all, iSkibike's unique seat design allows you to ride the chairlift without dismounting the ski bike.

Super Cushy Seat
iSkibike's unique saddle-shaped padded "soft-grip" seat keeps you from sliding around on the seat. It allows you to shift your weight and have those forces directed to your skis to provide you with excellent edge control.

Foot Skis with Brakes
iSkibike foot skis have tails reinforced with a "heel-edge" component which can dig into the snow and hardpack to provide a tremendous amount of braking power. They allow beginners and persons with disabilities to be able to go their own speed as slow as they want.

iSkibike uses downhill ski bindings to attach skis allowing you to choose which skis to use. Use the proper skis to match the snow conditions you are skiing or upgrade to the newest coolest skis when they come on the market. Like downhill skiing, the best skis provides the best fun.

Safety Always
iSkibike incorporates on-slope runaway prevention into the front and rear suspension systems. This bike will not runaway on its own without a rider. Releasable downhill bindings on the skis reduces the risk of injury and each have their own safety-stops.

Smooth Ride
iSkibike has a full suspension that gives a creamy smooth ride on the groomers, floats through the powder with ease, and absorbs any bump, jump, or mogul you encounter. Progressive rear suspension has 8 inches of seat travel supported by fully dampened shock absorbers. Front suspension is provided by adjustable air downhill mountain bike forks with 4 to 6 inches of travel.

Ski Resort Restrictions
Many ski resorts still restrict use of ski bikes on their slopes. To find ski bike friendly resorts, see the American SkiBike Association's list of ski resorts allowing ski bikes.
Persons with Disabilities have Access Rights
The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 & 2008, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 ban discrimination against persons with disabilities. These laws mandate that public ski resorts assure persons with disabilities access to all ski lifts and runs who use adaptive equipment such as a ski bike. See our Access page for more information.
iSkibike is different from most modern "mountain-bike" inspired ski bikes. It uses foot skis so there is no foot traffic around the lifts or on the slopes. The suspension system with two skis prevents riderless runaway bikes and releasable downhill ski bindings have safety-stops. iSkibike is so easy to load and unload the chairlifts that hill operations are seldom impacted.
