What is iSkibike?
iSkibike is Perfect for Adaptive Skiing
iSkibike requires minimal physical strength and coordination. Small skis on the feet help balance and provide braking, creating immediate confidence and control for carving a turn, or stopping on a dime. Best of all, the chairlift carries the iSkibike, while you sit on the ski bike seat.

iSkibike Features and Benefits
Foot Skis with Brakes
iSkibike foot skis' "heel-edge" component digs into snow and hardpack providing incredible braking power. Beginners and persons with disabilities can go as slow as they want. Ski bikers experience a level of control and stopping power unlike any other ski bike foot ski on the market.
iSkibike uses releasable downhill ski bindings to attach skis to the ski bike allowing you to choose which skis to use. Use the proper skis to match snow conditions or upgrade to the newest skis when they come on the market. Like downhill skiing, the best skis provides the best fun.
iSkibike incorporates on-slope runaway prevention into the front and rear suspension systems. This bike will not run away down the slope without a rider. iSkibike attaches its skis to the bike with releasable downhill ski bindings to reduce the risk of injury to the rider should they fall and to enhance runaway ski bike prevention.
iSkibike has a full suspension that gives a creamy smooth ride on groomed slopes, floats through the powder with ease, and absorbs any bump, jump, or mogul you encounter. The progressive rear suspension has 8 inches of seat travel supported by fully dampened shock absorbers. The front suspension is provided by air pressure adjustable downhill mountain bike forks with 4 to 6 inches of travel.

Ski areaS allow ski bikes
Adaptive skiers are entitled to access all resort ski runs and lifts. Regardless what the resort ski bike policy states, it is against the law to deny access for iSkibikes, or any other adaptive ski equipment. Courts have enforced the right of disabled individuals to choose ski bikes for their adaptive skiing equipment.
Ski Area requires a leash to the ski bike while skiing
The manufacturer of iSkibike strongly recommends that a leash NOT be used between the rider and the ski bike while skiing downhill.
iSkibike does not need a leash. It won't run away down the slopes without a rider. The design and engineering of iSkibike mitigates that danger. But there is a big danger to the rider having the equipment being pulled onto them during a fall.
Don't attach a strap or leash between you and the iSkibike while skiing downhill.
Ski area requires a leash to the ski bike while riding the chairlift
The manufacturer of iSkibike recommends that a leash NOT be used while riding the chairlift.
The iSkibike will not fall off the chairlift. The rider sits on the ski bike on the chairlift and the chairlift safety-bar secures both the rider and the bike on the chair. Using a leash is not necessary to keep the ski bike from falling off the lift but using a leash is very dangerous should it get snagged on the chairlift during the loading or unloading process.
Don't attach a strap or leash between either you and the iSkibike or between the chair and the iSkibike while riding on the chairlift.
